Quercus palustris 'Green Pillar' is a narrow, columnar pin oak selected for gardens where width is limited but strong vertical structure is wanted. Glossy green, deeply lobed leaves turn vivid red and orange in autumn. Although its slim crown takes up less ground space than a typical oak, its eventual height makes it best for medium to large gardens.
