Planning a livebearer community

Guppies, platies, mollies and swordtails vary in size and preferred conditions. Check each species' care requirements against your aquarium's water and available space rather than assuming all livebearers have identical needs.

Consider the mix of males and females and plan for the possibility of fry. Leave room for the adult fish and any future stock, and choose food suitable for their size. Live animals are click & collect only.
