Apple 'Gala' is a popular dessert variety producing sweet, crisp and juicy apples with red-striped skin. Its pink-white spring blossom is followed by fruit that ripens in early autumn in Ireland. The tree is partially self-fertile, but a compatible pollination partner helps maximise crops. Its manageable bush habit suits small to medium gardens.
