Apple 'Grenadier' is a reliable early-season cooking apple valued for its sharp flavour and soft texture when cooked. It bears attractive spring blossom and green apples that ripen from late summer in Ireland. Naturally disease-resistant and self-fertile, it is an excellent choice where space allows only one apple tree.
