About this variety

If you are of the opinion that tomatoes have lost their flavour then you will certainly enjoy the true tangy flavour of Tomato 'Gardener's Delight'. This cordon variety has long been a favourite for its trusses of particularly flavoursome, bite-sized cherry tomatoes that are ideal for adding to salads and sandwiches. This variety is reliable and prolific whether grown outdoors or in the greenhouse.

When to buy and plant

Use the sowing dates on the packet. Some seeds need indoor sowing and transplanting; others can be sown directly outdoors when conditions are suitable.

Planting and growing

Follow the packet for sowing depth, spacing and germination conditions. Choose suitable seed compost where required, label varieties and avoid letting seedlings dry out.

Aftercare

Thin or transplant seedlings as directed and harden off indoor-raised plants before planting out. Water and feed for the crop or flower you are growing.
