Housing & Setup

Enclosure dimensions are length × depth × height unless stated otherwise. Plan for the adult animal; larger, suitably furnished housing is encouraged.

Behaviour & Compatibility

House individually. These geckos jump readily and may drop their tail when frightened; it does not regrow.

Feeding & Nutrition

Use a complete crested-gecko diet mixed exactly as directed; offer fresh portions regularly and remove leftovers within the manufacturer’s time limit. Offer small gut-loaded live insects as part of a varied diet, more frequently for growing juveniles. Dust insects appropriately, but do not add extra vitamins to an already complete diet unless advised. Provide drinking droplets and a shallow water bowl.

Routine Care

Check temperatures, humidity, appetite and behaviour daily. Replace drinking water and remove waste promptly. Clean bowls and contaminated furnishings regularly; monitor weight and shedding. Arrange advice from an exotics vet for persistent changes in appetite, breathing or movement.

Run and check the enclosure before collection. Adult housing requirements apply even when the animal is sold as a baby. Confirm the animal’s current food, age and supplement schedule with our reptile team.
