The Red King Cobra Male Guppy is a strikingly beautiful and popular aquarium fish known for its vibrant colors and unique patterns. This species displays a mesmerizing blend of red, orange, and black hues, accented with iridescent scales that shimmer under aquarium lights. These guppies are relatively small, typically reaching about 4-6 cm in length, making them a great choice for community aquariums. They are known for their hardiness and adaptability, which makes them suitable for both novice and experienced aquarists. Their active and playful nature adds a dynamic element to any tank.

Origin:
The Red King Cobra Male Guppy is originally from Northeastern South America but has been extensively bred in captivity. Due to selective breeding, the coloration and finnage of these guppies can vary significantly from their wild counterparts.

Temperature:
The ideal temperature for maintaining a healthy environment for Red King Cobra Guppies is between 22°C and 28°C.

Feeding:
These guppies thrive on a varied diet that includes high-quality flake food, freeze-dried bloodworms, brine shrimp, and daphnia. It's important to provide a balanced diet to ensure their vibrant coloration and overall health.

Water Quality:
Red King Cobra Guppies prefer a pH range of 7.0 to 8.0 and water hardness between 8 and 12 dGH. Regular water changes and a well-maintained filtration system are essential to keep these parameters stable.

Ideal Aquarium Size:
A minimum tank size of 40 liters is recommended for keeping Red King Cobra Guppies. They enjoy well-planted tanks with plenty of swimming space and areas of low current. Providing a variety of live plants and hiding spots can create an ideal environment for them.

Lifespan:
Under optimal conditions, Red King Cobra Guppies can live for up to 2 to 3 years.

Community Tank Compatibility:
These guppies are peaceful and can coexist well with other non-aggressive fish species. They are best kept with similar-sized or smaller community fish.

Breeding:
Breeding Red King Cobra Guppies is relatively easy. They are livebearers, meaning the females give birth to live, free-swimming young. A breeding tank with ample hiding places for fry is ideal, as adult guppies may prey on their young. Separating the fry into a nursery tank ensures a higher survival rate.
