Extremely fast arboreal Old World species with medically significant venom potential. Never handle.

Recommended enclosure: Adult: tall enclosure around 30 × 30 × 45 cm or larger
Temperature: 24–28 °C
Humidity: 70–80%
Substrate: 5–8 cm of moisture-retentive substrate
Décor & hides: vertical cork tubes, bark slabs and foliage; secure climbing structure is essential
Feeding & Water
Feeding: Crickets, roaches and locusts; prey can be offered on vertical surfaces or near the retreat.
Water: Fresh water dish and light periodic misting; do not keep stagnant or saturated.
Special Care
Secure enclosure and careful rehousing technique are essential. Provide vertical retreats before introducing the spider.
