The Guppy red blond from the species Poecilia reticulata from South America is a very beautiful brightly colored color variant of the incredibly popular million fish in aquaristics. There certainly aren't many aquarists who haven't had guppies before, as this beautiful lively group fish is considered ideal for beginners to the aquarium hobby.

Temperature:
The ideal temperature for maintaining the health and vibrancy of the  Blonde Male Guppy is between 22°C to 28°C.

Feeding:
These guppies thrive on a varied diet that includes high-quality flake foods, frozen or live brine shrimp, daphnia, and bloodworms. Providing a mix of these foods ensures balanced nutrition.

Water Quality:
Blonde Male Guppies prefer a water pH range of 6.8 to 7.8 and moderate water hardness. Regular water changes and a well-maintained filter help to keep these parameters stable.

Ideal Aquarium Size:
A minimum of 20 liters is recommended for a small group of Blonde Male Guppies. They enjoy well-planted tanks that offer both open swimming spaces and hiding spots. The use of a filter and regular water changes are essential for maintaining a healthy environment.

Lifespan:
On average, these guppies can live for 1 to 2 years, with proper care and in ideal conditions, they may live slightly longer.

Community Tank Compatibility:
Blonde Male Guppies are peaceful and do well in community tanks. They should be housed with other non-aggressive fish that thrive in similar water conditions.

Breeding:
Breeding Blonde Male Guppies is relatively easy. They are livebearers, meaning the females give birth to live, free-swimming young. A ratio of one male to two or three females is ideal. Providing a breeding tank with ample hiding spots for fry is beneficial.

Please note:
We don't ship live animals. You can order online and choose click and collect and we will hold it for you.
