Armeria maritima 'Rubrifolia', also known as Sea Thrift or Sea Pink, is a compact, clump-forming perennial admired for its deep reddish-purple foliage and bright pink globe-like flowers. This variety adds bold colour and texture to borders, rock gardens, and coastal plantings. Flowering from spring into early summer, it forms neat mounds topped with slender stems carrying the vibrant blooms, attracting pollinators like bees. 'Rubrifolia' is drought-tolerant, thrives in poor, well-drained soils, and is ideal for sunny, exposed sites.
