The Endler Guppy, specifically the Assorted Male variant, is a vibrant and attractive freshwater fish known for its stunning coloration and lively behavior. These small, ornamental fish are a popular choice for aquarists due to their ease of care and ability to adapt to a variety of aquarium conditions. The males are particularly notable for their iridescent and multicolored bodies, featuring a blend of bright colors like red, orange, green, and blue. Their energetic swimming patterns and sociable nature make them an excellent choice for community tanks. Endler Guppies are also known for their hardiness, making them suitable for both novice and experienced fish keepers. They thrive in well-maintained aquariums where their colors and playful nature can be fully appreciated.

Origin: Endler Guppies originate from the warm waters of northeastern Venezuela, particularly in the regions around Laguna de Patos and the Campoma and Buena Vista lagoons.

Temperature: The ideal temperature for Endler Guppies ranges from 24°C to 28°C (75°F to 82°F).

Feeding: Endler Guppies thrive on a diet of high-quality flake food, brine shrimp, daphnia, and bloodworms. It's beneficial to provide a variety of foods to ensure balanced nutrition.

Water Quality: These fish prefer a water pH between 6.7 and 8.5 and do well in soft to moderately hard water.

Ideal Aquarium Size: Endler Guppies should be kept in a tank of at least 40 liters. They appreciate a planted aquarium with ample swimming space and some hiding spots. Adequate filtration and regular water changes are important to maintain water quality.

Lifespan: The lifespan of Endler Guppies is typically around 2 to 3 years, although proper care can extend their life slightly longer.

Community Tank Compatibility: Endler Guppies are peaceful and can be kept with other small, non-aggressive fish. They do well in a community setting with species that have similar water requirements.

Breeding: Breeding Endler Guppies is relatively easy. They are livebearers, with females giving birth to free-swimming fry every 4 to 6 weeks. Providing dense vegetation or breeding boxes can offer protection to the fry from adult fish.
