The Sunkissed Corn Snake, a captivating reptile with a striking appearance, is a popular choice among snake enthusiasts. Known for its vibrant coloration, this snake exhibits a warm and inviting palette of oranges, reds, and yellows along its scales, reminiscent of a sun-kissed horizon. Origin: Native to the southeastern United States, particularly in regions spanning from New Jersey to the Florida Keys, the Sunkissed Corn Snake thrives in a variety of habitats, from woodlands to grassy fields.
Temperature & Humidity: To ensure the well-being of the Sunkissed Corn Snake, maintain an ideal temperature range within its enclosure, typically between 75°F and 85°F (24°C to 29°C). Moderate humidity levels around 40% to 50% are sufficient, mimicking the conditions found in its native environment.
Housing: When housing a Sunkissed Corn Snake, a secure and escape-proof enclosure is essential. A glass terrarium or plastic tub with a tight-fitting lid is commonly used. Provide appropriate bedding, such as aspen shavings or cypress mulch, and include hiding spots, branches, and a shallow water dish. Ensure that the enclosure is properly heated with an under-tank heating pad or heat lamp to maintain the recommended temperature gradient.
Feeding: These snakes are carnivorous and primarily feed on rodents, making them relatively easy to care for. Juvenile Sunkissed Corn Snakes can be fed appropriately sized pinky mice or fuzzies, while adults can consume larger mice. Offering pre-killed or thawed frozen rodents is the safest and most convenient way to feed them, usually every 5-7 days.
Lifespan: With proper care, Sunkissed Corn Snakes can live for an impressive 15 to 20 years or more in captivity. Their longevity makes them great companions for dedicated reptile enthusiasts.

They are generally easy to handle, and their striking appearance adds to their appeal. These snakes are also known for their curious and exploratory behavior, often perching on elevated branches or exploring their enclosure.
