Iris setosa, commonly known as the Beachhead Iris, is a captivating aquatic plant native to cool regions in the Northern Hemisphere. This perennial features slender, grass-like leaves and striking flowers that create a vivid display in water gardens or naturalized settings. The blossoms, usually in vibrant shades of blue or purple, have a distinctive appearance with three large petal-like sepals known as 'falls' and three upright 'standards', attracting both visual interest and wildlife.
