Watsonia Royal Salmon is a stunning South African native perennial that belongs to the iris family. This plant produces tall, upright spikes of funnel-shaped flowers that bloom from late spring to early summer, adding a burst of colour to the garden. The petals of the flowers are a delicate salmon pink, which fade to a paler shade towards the throat of the flower. The leaves are sword-shaped and form clumps of green foliage at the base of the plant. Watsonia Royal Salmon is a hardy and easy-to-grow plant that is perfect for adding height and colour to mixed borders and cottage gardens.
