Myriophyllum spicatum, commonly known as spiked water milfoil, is an aquatic plant that is native to Europe, Asia, and North Africa. It is a popular plant for garden ponds because it provides oxygenation, removes excess nutrients from the water, and creates a natural habitat for fish and other aquatic creatures.
