Achillea 'Safran', commonly known as saffron yarrow, is a popular herbaceous perennial that belongs to the Asteraceae family. It is native to Europe and Asia but has become naturalized in many parts of North America as well. The plant grows up to 2-3 feet in height, and features fern-like, aromatic, and feathery foliage that is gray-green in color. The flowerheads are flat-topped, composed of many small flowers, and are a unique shade of orange-yellow with a hint of pink.
