HabiStat Jungle Bio Blend has been carefully formulated for a wide range of species that inhabit tropical regions. Inspired by the rich, nutrient-laden soils of tropical ecosystems, this substrate creates a natural, biologically active foundation for your enclosure.
Professionally blended from all-natural ingredients, Jungle Bio Blend helps sustain bioactive environments, supports microfauna, encourages moisture cycling, and promotes thriving clean-up crews, creating a healthy and balanced ecosystem. Ideal for reptiles, amphibians, and invertebrates, this substrate forms the perfect base for any self-maintaining, tropical bioactive enclosure.
Our substrates come fully hydrated and ready to use. Compact the bottom layer before adding a top layer to help maintain burrows and trap essential humidity in the lower levels. As the top layer dries, it will trap in vital humidity throughout the bottom layers. For a more naturalistic setup, pair with HabiStat leaf litter.
