Delphinium Blue Bird Group is a tall, stately perennial admired for its towering spires of vivid blue flowers with white centres (known as "bees"). Blooming in early to mid-summer, it brings height and drama to borders, cottage gardens, and mixed perennial beds. These elegant plants prefer rich, well-drained soil and a sunny position, and they’re a favourite among gardeners for their classic, romantic appeal. Their flowers are attractive to pollinators, particularly bees and butterflies. With proper staking and deadheading, Blue Bird can often produce a second flush of blooms later in the season.
