It produces tall, sword-like green foliage and vibrant yellow flowers from late spring to early summer. This iris is particularly well-suited to planting around ponds, streams, and bog gardens, where it provides vertical interest and naturalises easily. Known for its tolerance of very wet conditions, it is also beneficial for wildlife, offering habitat and food for pollinators and aquatic species.
