Tropica Peperomia prostrata, often called String of Turtles, is a delicate tropical trailing plant with small, rounded leaves marked by an attractive turtle-shell pattern. It is ideal for humid terrariums and the planted land sections of paludariums, where its fine stems can spill naturally over wood and stone.

Planting and care

Plant in an airy, free-draining terrarium substrate above the waterline. Provide humidity with good airflow; allow the surface to become slightly less damp between watering. Pinch or trim trailing stems to encourage fuller growth. This plant is not suitable for permanent submersion in an aquarium.
