Coral Bells 'Marvelous Marble' | Heuchera americana 'Marvelous Marble' (3 Litre)
Coral Bells 'Marvelous Marble' is valued for leaves that change with the season: purple tones in cool weather develop into green foliage with dark veins and silvery marbling. Fine cream flowers appear above the mound in late spring and early summer.
Why we like it
- Silvery marbling and contrasting dark leaf veins.
- Seasonal foliage colour for borders and pots.
- Airy cream flowers above the leaves.
What to know
- Plant in partial shade or gentle sun, avoiding hot, dry positions.
- Use fertile, moist but well-drained soil; winter waterlogging can damage the crown.
- Keep the crown at soil level and water regularly while establishing.
- Remove damaged leaves in spring and spent flower stems after flowering.
- Divide and replant older clumps every three to four years if the crown lifts.
