Behavior

  • Calm, slow-moving, and mostly active at night.

  • Tank Size: Minimum 20–30 liters for a small group

  • Substrate: 8–12 cm of moist coconut fiber, soil, or organic compost for burrowing

  • Lighting: Low light; avoid direct sunlight

Compatibility

  • Can be housed with other similar-sized land snails.

  • Avoid housing with predatory insects or animals that may harm snails.

Diet

  • Herbivorous; feeds on fresh vegetables and fruits:

    • Cucumber, lettuce, carrot, zucchini

    • Apple, pear, melon

  • Provide calcium source such as cuttlebone or crushed eggshell for shell development.

  • Remove uneaten food daily to prevent mold growth.
