Choose food made for your goldfish
Goldfish flakes, pellets and granules differ in size and whether they float or sink. Choose a formulation intended for goldfish and a format the particular variety can eat comfortably.
Compare pack sizes with the number of fish you keep and follow the feeding instructions. Watch for uneaten food and adjust the amount offered rather than allowing food to accumulate in the aquarium or pond.
