Housing & Setup

Enclosure dimensions are length × depth × height unless stated otherwise. Plan for the adult animal; larger, suitably furnished housing is encouraged.

Behaviour & Compatibility

Do not handle. Centipedes are fast escape artists with venomous bites; use secure tools and a catch container during maintenance.

Feeding & Nutrition

Offer appropriately sized live insects using long feeding tools. Feed according to size and appetite, generally around weekly for established adults. Remove uneaten prey, especially around moulting; provide a shallow water dish.

Routine Care

Check food, water or drinking droplets, ventilation and substrate moisture regularly. Remove waste and spoiled food promptly; avoid disturbing animals during moulting. Keep doors and ventilation gaps secure.
