Galium odoratum, commonly known as Sweet Woodruff, is a delicate perennial herb native to Europe, prized for its attractive whorled leaves and small, fragrant white flowers. It thrives in partial to full shade, making it an excellent choice for woodland gardens or shaded borders. Sweet Woodruff also serves as a ground cover, spreading slowly by rhizomes to form a lush carpet beneath trees or shrubs, suppressing weeds effectively.
