Athyrium otophorum 'Okanum', commonly known as the Japanese Painted Fern 'Okanum', is a striking deciduous fern admired for its soft, chartreuse to yellow-green fronds highlighted with deep burgundy midribs. This elegant foliage plant brings light and colour to shaded garden areas, woodland settings, or containers. With a graceful, arching habit and a moderate growth rate, it adds texture and contrast among darker greens and makes an excellent companion to hostas, heucheras, and other shade-loving plants.
