Butomus umbellatus 'Schneeweisschen', commonly known as white flowering rush or grass rush, is a herbaceous perennial plant that is native to Europe and Asia. It grows up to a height of 120 cm and features long, narrow leaves with spikes of small white flowers in summer. The flowers are held above the foliage, giving them a striking appearance. This plant is suitable for pond and water gardens, as it grows well in wet soils and shallow water. It can also be grown in regular garden soil as long as it is kept moist.
